This morning the rain was pissing down so hard we didnt risk the rain to run down to the bus for opshopping. Instead, the event of the day was making pancakes.Only good thing was that I got to try out doing ombre nails. Everything I wore was thrifted or vintage. Comfort was key today!

The weathers been too wet to get out and do anything, apart from the anzac parade this morning which we went to at 6.00am. Im going opshopping tommorow though, yay! I really want another pair of big chunky boots, and I found my near perfect pair online at asos. I put all the money onto my card and everything, only to discover that my size was out of stock. I literally cant find them anywhere else. So frustrated arg! Anyway, my most wanted online shopping list as of now.

Sunny shopping!

Today was the first day in a long time where we actually had nice weather. Instead of actually getting outdoors enjoying it, we decided to enjoy it by walking to the bus stop which was our 20minutes of sun. Hamilton has one of the biggest indoor and outdoor shopping centres in NZ, which their still expanding. I wore my thrifted denim jacket out for the first time, which I could have doubled as a umbrella if it had rained.  We spent a good 4 hours there, and didnt really buy much, apart from nail polish, an ear-ring for my upper ear, and some socks. I didn't buy any food for a change, which I was quite proud of.

Rainy days

The weather this morning was absolutely crap. What better way to deal with it than dessert for lunch? I decided to wear all black because it matched my mood, plus wore my trusty old doc matins for rain protection. Went thrift store shopping after and picked up a sushi top for $2, a hard rock Amsterdam sweater for $4, a black and orange crop top for $3 and a huge denim jacket that I'm going to DIY for $7.Also brought some really cute cat eye sunglasses for $20 reduced from $60.  Kind of brought me out of my weather depression. 

Cant wait to wear these when the sun comes back!
